My top picks from Grand Designs Live 2015 show at ExCel London. These first two images are from Jam Jar Lights. Handmade and custom made lights that will add an industrial / warehouse vibe to any space. I also loved the wooden lighting from Macmaster – so beautifully crafted and a feature with or without the lights on!
My recent move to Kent has got me inspired by all things coastal! It’s great to reflect a sense of the location you’re in without it becoming clichéd. The rope on these lights from Culinary Concepts has a nautical feel. There is no getting away from the sea in this amazing unique furniture from Tristan Cockerill.
Wall art was another area that caught my eye at this years Grand Designs. Art is always a great way to express your personality – never miss an opportunity to use the vertical space in any room you are decorating! I liked the Comic Art Pieces for their fun and splash of colour. Life In Squares is a great way of displaying some of the digital photography that we all have, on so many devices (!), these days. Don’t let it sit on your phone or computer – share the happy memories! Lastly, I was blown away by the work of the talented Alex from Lucas Antics. If you need some wild wallpaper or even the exterior of your house painted – she is your girl!
The trek from Kent to ExCel London was definitely worth it for some interior design inspiration.
