With an existing family living room off of the kitchen, the brief for this additional living room was for a more elegant living space. The inspiration was treasured pieces from travels abroad and the client favoured a Moroccan inspired vibe but with the use of greys and pastel brights. They also favoured mid century and contemporary furnishings. The resulting space is one that has a calm, grown up feel but doesn't take itself too seriously! There are pops of colour throughout the scheme and lots of use of pattern and texture.

A young family wanted to refresh the family living room to make it bright and fun - a place which both adults and children could enjoy. The focus was on making the most of the light and the garden views and creating a welcoming space where all the family could relax. Incorporated into the design was an heirloom chair - which was rescued from a second floor play room and reupholstered to give it a new lease of life. The fabrics tie with the bespoke curtains and soft furnishings. The feature wall frames out the wood burning stove and adds a punch of colour.

The owners of this property approached me at the very early stages of the building renovation. My brief was to help them pull together a cohesive look throughout the property. They wanted something fresh and airy - whilst at the same time welcoming. They had a lot of existing pieces of furniture to incorporate into the designs and wanted guidance on choices for bathroom tiles, cabinetry in the kitchen and flooring throughout - as well as options for window dressings. I also helped with space planning and lighting designs.

Some happy clients…

@Mrs Francis

We are delighted with the end result!

@Chrissie Jordison, Director at Right Estate Agents

I used Lisa to try and make sense of some design and practical problems we had since building our extension. Lisa quickly cut through my inertia and gave us some great solutions. I was also surprised how flexible her services can be and with a range of prices and trade contacts means it doesn't have to be expensive at all. Basically I am not risking doing anything else in the house without consulting Lisa first!

@Emma Peat

Lisa is very friendly and easy to work with, and you can tell she takes pride in delivering solutions that make the client happy.

@Mr & Mrs Day

Working with Lisa on the interior design of our renovation project has been an absolute pleasure. Having carefully considered our requirements and likes/dislikes, Lisa's input has saved us a massive amount of time by suggesting some fantastic options for our remodeled home. I cannot recommend Lisa's interior design service highly enough

@Lucy Lavers

I have recently started working with Lisa as we are extending the house. Working with her has made me realize I am actually going to save money as she can see the potential in what I already have and how to use my 'stuff' to create a beautiful home. With her advice I won't go out and buy more clutter, and waste more money, in an attempt to buy some style. I would recommend a session with Lisa before you spend a penny on anything elsewhere
